One journey or many rules.
Jomo lets you build the boundary in detail
Jomo’s current product offers several rule types rather than one blocking pattern. You can block for a short session, create recurring time ranges, keep an app locked with limited openings, apply a daily time limit, or make access depend on completing an action. Templates and app groups make those rules reusable.
Its unlock options add another layer of friction. Public examples include waiting, giving a reason, copying text, entering a password, scanning a QR code or completing an action. Strict Mode is designed for people who know they will otherwise change or delete the rule. Jomo also includes journaling, reports and screen-time budgets for reviewing patterns.
Hello Mumma reduces the number of decisions
Hello Mumma starts from a narrower observation: a mum can know that she wants to be present and still find her thumb opening a feed before she has consciously decided. The product protects that moment with a selected app block, then offers one small family activity rather than another configuration screen.
The simplicity is intentional. The activity can be small enough for a tired day, and the reminder recorded by you brings back the reason you set the boundary. You do not get Jomo’s depth of rules or reports. You get a more guided path toward a specific relationship.
